A true lightweight dual-purpose motorcycle from Yamaha's golden era, this DT175cc remains one of the most respected and capable trail bikes of its generation, combining rugged reliability with excellent off-road manners and everyday usability.

At the heart of this machine sits Yamaha's proven 171cc air-cooled single-cylinder two-stroke engine, renowned for its simplicity, durability and eager power delivery. Fed through a carburettor and coupled to a smooth six-speed manual gearbox, the engine provides strong low and mid-range torque, making it equally at home navigating tight woodland trails or open country lanes
