The Iconic Yamaha RD250 remains one of the most recognisable and respected motorcycles of its generation becoming hugely popular throughout the late 1970s and early 1980s
Lightweight, responsive and packed with character, it quickly gained a loyal following among riders looking for spirited performance and sharp handling
Powered by a 247cc air-cooled parallel-twin two-stroke engine, the RD250 offered an exciting ride with strong acceleration, eager throttle response and the distinctive power delivery that made Yamaha's two-stroke models so enjoyable. Equally at home on winding country roads or weekend race meetings, the RD250 helped establish Yamaha as a leading force in the performance motorcycle market and remains a highly sought-after classic today
EXTERNAL
Finished in attractive Yamaha Blue, this RD250 presents exceptionally well and immediately catches the eye with its timeless styling and unmistakable two-stroke presence. The fuel tank and side panels retain a rich, deep uniform shine while the legendary 'black/white' decals remain clear and well-defined complementing the motorcycle's classic lines perfectly
The black-finished engine casings contrast beautifully against the blue bodywork, with the Yamaha badging standing out exactly as intended.
Showing a smidge over 25,800 miles this motorcycle has clearly benefitted from careful ownership over the years. The chrome front and rear mudguards remain bright and presentable, while the polished fork assemblies and rear suspension components continue to display a high class finish

Factory optional extra correct seven spoke alloy wheels present in very good condition along with being shod with equally good quality tyres front and rear showing ample tread depth
Brakes are as followes via caliper disc brake to the front and rearvboth functioning well and offering confidence-inspiring stopping power. The wheels show no signs of corrosion or damage
