DESCRIPTION

Introduced in 2014, the Renault Megane Renault Sport 275 Trophy-R continued Renault Sport's tradition of producing some of the most focused and exciting hot hatches ever built. Following in the footsteps of legendary models such as the Clio Williams, Clio V6, Clio Trophy, Megane R26 and the iconic R26.R, the 275 Trophy-R was engineered with one purpose in mind delivering an uncompromising driving experience.

Reflecting its exceptionally low mileage and careful ownership, the interior of this Renault Megane Renault Sport 275 Trophy-R remains in outstanding factory-fresh condition. Every aspect of the cabin showcases Renault Sport's uncompromising approach to creating one of the most focused road cars of its generation, where performance and weight reduction took precedence over luxury.

This particular example was specified from new with the highly desirable Factory Lightweight Pack, further enhancing its exclusivity. The package includes the sought-after six-point racing harnesses, complementing the lightweight, competition-inspired character of the Trophy-R.

In keeping with its track-focused philosophy, the rear seats were deleted at the factory, while the front occupants are secured by lightweight Renault Sport bucket seats trimmed in a combination of Black leather and Alcantara with contrasting red stitching. Both seats remain in exceptional condition, showing virtually no signs of wear and providing the support expected from a car developed with circuit performance firmly in mind.

Continuing the weight-saving theme, the door cards feature lightweight carbon-effect panels in place of conventional trim, while still incorporating electric windows and courtesy lights, all operating exactly as intended. Renault Sport stripped the Trophy-R back to its essentials without compromising its usability. With an in-line 2.0-litre turbocharged 4 cylinder engine housed under the bonnet producing 270bhp having front wheel drive and coupled to a six-speed manual gearbox with limited-slip differential this is a wolf in sheep’s clothing.

With factory revised remapped ECU along with the titanium exhaust fitted weight and maximising power has and was the only intention. With factory stiffer springs, Anti-roll bar size increased along with a lower ride height this had one vision to be the quickest and lightest it possibly can
