EXTERNAL

Having the passion for Lambretta's and F1 this stunning example front to rear beams quite simply that, A contrasting paintwork that from a different light/angle looks Black when in fact it's actually a Dark Blue over White which works wonderfully displaying various Team logos and individual chosen artwork, Some utterly bespoke to this machine

With having a 2 tone colour only colour scheme and based around the F1 Alpha Tauri team the sister team to Red Bull this is unique and in a league of it's own

All graphics are hand painted retaining the personnel touch, Panelling remains damage and mark free with a deep rich gloss and uniform shine front to rear, Graphics under the side panelling remain fresh and bright, Many items on this example are bespoke or upgrades with little use of chrome which normally for a Lambretta is a must however with going down the F1 Tribute route chrome is not the go to so with that in mind Black was the chosen colour which works very well

Side panelling with 'carb grille' with center logo something of pure quality, Having upgraded BGM Front and Rear Shocks along with Pro Street Levers which look amazing, A 'SIP' speedo has been fitted which complements the headset controls to another level along with grips and having the long range fuel tank fitted a must for those long journeys on to your next rally, Anti-slip foot guards sitting straight and true showing no signs of wear or fading

Various bespoke items including the headlamp grill and rear rack have been finished in black which contrast well with the customary bike colouring, Further customary items include a Frenched in rear light, moulded-in legshield toolbox along with detailed choke and petrol tap controls these details are what sit this example apart from the rest simply unique with attention to detail 

The seat is based on the classic Snetterton shape but with a twist of being extended and hinged to give access to the long range fuel tank..simply wonderful attention to detail, 

Front brakes have been upgraded to outboard disc the rears remain standard specification, along with having new cables fitted (MB Brand) and Pro street levers, 

Rims are SIP Tubeless shod with as new S1 tyres displaying P Zero decals 

ENGINE & GEARBOX

This is by no means your average Lambretta, Fitted with an 'Imola 186' with mammoth head and cowling, Along with a 30M Delly Carburettor

Engine runs very well, Rides superb and instant response should you wish to open it up a little, Power on tap as required, Having a lightened flywheel and BGM Starter fitted mated to a GP200 Gearbox

Takeups smooth progressive throughout and simply a pleasure to ride with the JLE exhaust pipe burbaling away in the background

HISTORY

The transformation of this Lambretta F1 tribute started in 2020 completed in approx. ten months during lockdown, Originally registered in 1977 : Model 'GP VI-JAY' was chosen because of being a GP and the love for Lambretta's and F1 could there be a better match? 

An F1 brand was chosen along with decals and so the transformation took place, Using only quality items along with attention to detail at all times the results simply amazing, From the external paintwork to the engine nothing has been left untouched a true enthusiast inspired machine, Much so that it's featured in 'Scootering.Com' along with a full write up echoing the build and quality-Any Lambretta lover will know this bike along with who built it and the quality of workmanship that goes into each build.

You will not find another like this truly a one off and a credit to the previous owner..Displaying only two former keepers this will sit in any collection without doubt as a focal point or to be used whichever way you choose to go with it one thing's for sure you have an incredible unique Lambretta.
