HISTORY FILE

This quite simply is unique with only 59 ever ordered and built, Technically a kit car presented to the owner who then had to fit the engine and gearbox...This particular example was or should of been build no-13 however being superstitious and 13 being unlucky they left chassis number/build 13 blank and subsequently this became build and chassis no 14 as per the plaque mounted to the dashboard

Date of registration 20th September 1976 this came about due to the donor vehicle being scrapped due to being rotten however the engine and gearbox still remained in good serviceable condition which then went into this DRK, The DVLA used the date from the donor vehicle for the registration date of the DRK, Original DVLA v5 logbook remains with the vehicle along with a history log of the engine back then having covered only 25000-miles

The DRK kit car became registered to a Mr Walmsley and issued a UK plate(not a 'Q') on the 12th of October 1987 who supplied the above engine and log book to the DVLA, The vehicle remained standard and still does today, Mr Walmsley then sold the vehicle to a  Mr Longstaff on the 26th April 1991 who retained the vehicle until 2000 when he sold it to a Mr Tuplin who has owned the vehicle ever since, Having come of an age he has decided it was time to let somebody else enjoy and offered JF CLASSIC CARS the unique opportunity to purchase RESULTING IN ONLY EVER HAVING THREE FORMER KEEPERS

Having build sheets along with racks of history, parts diagrams, behind the scenes information including a handwritten register of the mileage along with every DRK ever made and their owners simply unique piece of British History

The vehicle drives well and starts on the button a little gem
